Saturday Classes

Saturday Classes - YEAR 5 ONLY.

YEAR 5 Saturday classes start after Easter and are an excellent vehicle for consolidating concepts and practising skills for the 11+ and improving performance in general.

The sessions last for 3 hours, with a short break halfway through when the children can enjoy some outside play.

We cater for a variety of 11+ exams boards, including the Independent sector.

Our Year 5 Saturday classes run throughout the Summer Term and are for three hours. This extended time allows us to introduce two or three different activities in each session and to go through each one thoroughly.

The work we do caters for a variety of 11+ exams boards, including the Independent sector. There will still be the need for teaching during these sessions, but the children will also be given practice papers to familiarise them with the format of the 11+ and to help improve their speed.

As the sessions are for three hours, there will be a short break when the children will be able to go outside for play and we recommend they bring a small snack/drink. Playtimes are always supervised by two teachers.

At the end of the term, you will receive a summary of the scores your child has achieved and suggestions for areas which may need more study.

Looking for After School Classes

Each week children will be taught concepts and skills relating to the Year 5 curriculum in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning. Your child will be taught as well as tested.
